Question E-manage for new impreza ?

Did anyone put E-Manageto the bug eye? How t ran ? Did it make check light problem? P0102 mass air flow sensor Circuit low input problem? Please Help!!!

C'mon guys. You know what he meant. Give him a break.

To answer the question, yes, people have done it. I don't think it works well, though. I read that it works for fuel but throws a CEL and doesn't work for timing at all.

E-manage works great with a 03 RS and yes it has a CEL but you can tune ignition, fuel, air flow adjustment and Boost( optional) the e-manage is the best buy right now. It works the same as the UNICHIP and you have all the same options but the E-manage software is more user friendly

If you want the CE light to turn off, only tap the MAF in wire to the MAF lead but do not cut the MAF wire or connect the output wire at all. Should solve the MAF code problem.

i already cut it on the instal.i used a "Y" connection so the wire is still one peice, sort of. the cel still comes on at start up and the active LED is still flashing red.
and yeah, i did the battery disconnect thing.

The E-Manage works fine on the WRX, every single case I've found that didn't has had at least one wiring issue. GReddy uses the WRX as a showcase for the damn thing. The only thing that blows the E-Manage away is support... there is none from GReddy. I've talked to them and they are freakin idiots over there. If you're interested in learning more about the unit check out: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/emanage/ and http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/. For the price you won't beat it new for new as the software interface is mostly idiot proof. The one gripe I have is no knock or AFR... it can be done, but its a bit of a hack and not all that useful. Will it get you to 12 sec 1/4 miles, I wouldn't do it... mainly b/c of the lack of knock control. Will it compensate for basic mods (TBE, intake, MBC) sure. I think the #1 confusion most people have is they are expecting a Subaru specific state of the art piggyback... what they should be expecting is the next level to SAFC/ITC tuning. If you don't want to mess around with it, get a reflash and be done with it... us RS-T guys don't have that option, yet.
