Angry No!!! someone rear-ended my car!!!!!!!!

man.. on 8/3 6pm, just when i was about to go home from work some idiot rear ended me. funny thing was that it happened right in front of two san jose police who were doing routine traffic stops.
well, as far as my car goes.. it does not look pretty.. rear left bumper and trunk looked destroyed.. .rear quarter panel crumbled in and rear tire is rubbing against the spats and bumper. both left rear passenger door won't close all the way, and the right rear passenger door does not close evenly to match the contour. i think the frame is bent! argh!
right now i just hope my insurance company will make it a total loss and replace me a new car... i might have some parts for sale if i can get some help to take them out of my car.
if anyone who is interested in some strut bars, sway bars, clear corners and ISR intake, etc..please call me at 510)409-5659 cell. thanks

Have a Nice Day?

WOW! That totally bites. Shouldn't his insurance be paying for it? Sorry to hear about your loss. Maybe you should wait for the 2002.

I can help you take off anything you want...this weekend will work for me. When I had my accident, I bought the parts from www.subaruparts.com and then sold them to the body shop at full list price (they have that price)and made $2000 You could also do any upgrades at the same time ie light weight bumper support or body kit or...still sorry it happened

Yeah, that's about right.

Damn sorry to hear that man, it must have been a strong impact or a heavy car (SUV?) to cause that much damage. Not everybody can stop as fast as us I guess.

If it was a straight crush (not oblique) then a good frame shop should be able to pull it out no problems. Doubt your insurance company would total it though -- maybe it needs some "convincing" with a sledgehammer?

Let us know if you need any help disassembling stuff...

That totally sucks!!! Didn't we follow each other on the 880 only last week after the installfest!?

Hopefully they'll write it off for ya.

LMK about the strut brace, I'm interested if you do decide to sell it.

my insurance delt with me well, but you might have to convince them that some of the upgrades would add value to the "average" consumer...
