Post The story of the evolution of subaru (as described in poetic form by a chevy owner)

No rain for months, the clouds rolled passed, it was so hot and dusty.

Thats when i saw it, the ugliest thing, it was a subaru justy.

It had four cylinders and front wheel drive, for racing it was not,

"Who ever made this ugly thing, should be dragged to the street and shot.

"Ha ha", I said, "now what the hell, is that piece of crap?",

"It's not american built, it must be junk, made by some forign 'jap'".

"I wish i had that," I said to myslelf, of course it was in mock,

So I gave it one last look, and drove away in my I-ROC.

The years went by and cars changed, I saw some freaky things,

Like this car called the delorian, its doors resembled wings.

But the caziest thing I ever saw was another 'ru,

It had window in window, all wheel drive and a scooby do.

"What the hell?" I said in question, as it rolled right past,

I pulled up to it at the next light, wondering if it was fast.

The light turned green and I took off, I left him way behind,

Subaru's just must be slow, and with that I made up my mind.

A few more years, I got an LT1, I knew I was the ****,

Until one day I was caught off guard, it was kinda like being bit.

I was at a light ready to race, no one could beat my chevy,

This kid pulled up he said "lets race" and so my foot got heavy.

The car had scoops and a vent, I thought it was a ricer.

But I had a v-8, so my car was just plain nicer.

The light turned green and I laid a patch, I kicked his ass I knew,

But when the smoke cleared, to my disbelief, I saw "subaru".

"What the hell?" I yelled, as I shifted into Third,

But then my anger went away, as I passed the little terd.

So subaru's think they'e fast, cause they can beat me off the line,

but then I pass them going fast, they hear my engine whine!

I beat everything I raced, never lost, I always won,

that is until march 15 in the year 2001.

I was out cruising, in the streets, looking for a kill,

and then I saw it, my next race, chevy 3, subaru nil.

this thing was easy, I knew I'd win, all wheel drive or not,

it had 4 doors, ugly rims, and it headlights looked like snot.

We pulled up to a light, I revved my big v-8

The guy looked over at me, and then he took the bait.

The light turned green and I spun the wheels, burning away my tread,

In an instant I turned from being happy, to being filled with dread.

ffffffffffft pshhhh! I heard from my neighbors lane, as we shifted into gear,

I pulled strong in second, yet was still in fear.

This subaru was ahead of me and seemed was pulling strong,

the roar of my v-8 went silent as I heard his turbo song.

We raced again at the next light, as well as the next three,

he won again everytime, so I figured I should flee.

I turned on to a curvey back road, hoping to dip out,

my thoughts were wrong, as on a curve, he gave it his all out.

As i was braking so i wouldn't die, this suby shifted a lane,

his tires gripped he pushed it more, I thought he was insane.

He taught me a lesson, I couldn't belive,I never was so humble,

the next day I went to subaru to get rid of my v-8 rumble.

this poem is to all who think that their car is cool,

i wouldn't mess with those subaru's unless you are a fool.

they can't be beat, they are to good, that is all i can say.

So if you see one just pull aside, and let them be on their way.

oh and i am 19, i never had and never will have an IROC. i hate them, this is all fictional...
