Lightbulb Underbody Mud Protection?

I am going to hopefuly get a MY 02 Impreza Outback Sport (I think), and I was wondering if I could get some sort of skid plate protection for the car...like something to cover the entire front underbody (engine, radiator, etc...) that would keep mud and rocks from getting up in there.

Yes, several skidplates are available, if you do a search for them, you'll even find a couple of threads on them.

I'll try to post later who I bought mine from, but can't remember right now. I can tell you that it was about 100 USD, has two 2.5" holes in it for changing oil and has the preferred side flares to help "strengthen" it. It's as easy of an install as you can get....just bolts right up with 4 bolts....um....maybe 6 I don't remember that exaclty either.

I just mailed my check into Paul this morning, for a front skid plate and a rear differental guard. I'll let you know how it works out. Paul seems like a really cool guy, he E-mailed me back with in a half an hour. Thats what I call service.

I got mine from WebKris, search for skidplates in the Private Classified section. It's the one titled Skidplate group buy #2 or something similar to that.

I hope that works for you.
