Default STI Stereo Question for anyone

After 2,000 miles of just listening to the engine and turbo, I decided it was time to put a stereo in my STI. Does anyone out there know what fits without cutting any new holes. How about any reccomendations on any systems. I'm not looking to go crazy might just do a head unit and four speakers, or go wild and add an amp to the system. Like I said I'm not looking to go wild on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

As far as I know, the Sti has the same sized speaker and deck mounts as all 2002-2004 Imprezas.

Crutchfield.com has a cool tool that teels you exactly what fits your car, and how hard it is to install

its gonna say you can fit like 6.5s in the front and rear. I reccomend infinity speakers...you could go with the reference they sound great and they're not too much money. 4inch speakers will fit in the rear no problem, if you want the 6.5s you'll probably have to make a spacer or something. In the front they should fit fine. As far as a radio, we have some pretty good deals goin on at my work (circuit city) I'd stick with alpine, most powerful internal amp and its also black with green buttons should match the interior pretty good, if its like the normal wrx interior.

Dimensions are the same as the WRX and other imprezas for speakers. Head units fit in the standard doule DIN space that's in the center console.

brand preference is a personal thing, but I'm quite partial to Nakamichi decks and Boston Accoustics speakers, I have 6.5" in front and 4" in the rear.
