Post Engine swaps(wrx or sti into rs)... help...

I was wondering if the '02(US)WRX engine will swap directly into the '00(US) engine bay? Would anyone be willing to speculate as to whether or not the '03(US) STi engine would be the same story??

i dont think there will be a '03 sti, its too early, they just brought the wrx and the evo VII isnt coming so subaru will wait, no point in rushing things...neways, if the 02 wrx engine will fit, then the sti should too

The Sti IS available to other destinations other than N. America but on an order basis only. I talked to a guy in India that is expecting his at the end of June. He ordered it in Jan. but then again anything is possible if you have the money. He is a Prince. The official Sti should be coming out 10 months after the "official" launch of the "New-age" WRX, whenever that was. That is how FHI has traditionally done thier marketting, w/ SVX, Legacy GT Ltd, etc.
