Post Dead ABS! Anyone else have this happen?

OK, so I'm out doing scoobnuts at work, my ABS light comes on and the ABS stopped working? It didn't work on the drive home either. So I get home, turn off the car, turn it back on and the ABS works.....did I just confuse it with the rapid spinning, or did I jam snow in the sensor? It works fine now, but should I inspect it to be safe? Actually I hope it dies......BTW its a 99RS coupe 5spd....

Don't worry, its usuall, I have a 92 Legacy turbo 5spd, with ABS, everytime when I playing in snow if I slam on the brake, the ABS light will go on and the ABS just melfuction. After you restart your car, the ABS will work back again!!
Its good that I don't have to take out the fuse to disable the ABS!!!

i managed to have the same thing happen to my parent's old Saturn SC2. except, along with the ABS light, i also got the Traction Control light to be stuck on but i just turned the car off, and back on again, and it was set

Exact same thing happened today when I pulled a co-workers RX-7 out of the snow. I was doing alot of spinning and blasting through snow, braking, plowing, pulling, spinning, braking...you get the idea. I noticed that I wasnt getting the ABS pulse anymore and saw that my light had turned on. I was ready to blame it on the guy with the stuck car until I re-started and it cleared up
