Post Subaru MasterCard Cool!

Don't know if any of you have seen this. MBNA has a subaru credit card with the picture of your favorite subaru on it. Plus you earn 3% incentive towards any Subaru product(new car, parts, ect.) Thought that it was pretty cool and that I would pass it along to everyone. Now I just hope I get approved. Oh yeah, 2.9% intro on balance transfers.

I've had my car for several months. It looks awesome and you earn points toward a new Subie. Most importantly, I got a really good rate on it, and a high credit line.

swap and N20. gone. : (

Yeah, they called me the other day about it. The introductory APR is pretty good but after that it goea up to something like 13.99% or something! Since Ialready have an MBNA card, I might call them and see if I can get my current % rate with the Subaru logo.

hey Kcz,
is that right? any subaru product? if it covers parts then i'm filling out that form. i always thought it was just towards the purchase of a new car.
PS-these things work great. my G-friend's parents had a GM card when this stuff first came out and they charged EVERYTHING on that card. saved over a thousand!! of course their card started at 10%, GM realized their mistake and changed it to 5%...but still 1500 free bux is nothing to sneez at.

15.99%, come on guys, that's expensive!
Even if it says Subaru on it, it's still too much. And this points earning thing, oh well, keep on spending so that you get the points.
Good marketing, but no thanks for me.
15.99%, geez.

just called them and the intro rate it 5.9% for 5 mths then 17.9% there after. horrible rates for a credit card but if you don't keep a balance interest rates don't matter.

Hmm, I applied a few months ago and I get 5% back.

And you should NEVER carry a balance on a credit card, unless you are getting like 3% apr. I never carry over, so the interest is irrelevant to me.

The rate they give you is going to depend on your credit. I got the good intro rate of like 3.9 and then 9.9 after that. Not too bad.

The platinum is the one I got. Doesn't have a car on it, but it's still cool looking.
