Question Oil Question?!

I hope I,m not asking an old question, but is there a big differance from synthetic oil, against normal good quality oil? I'm coming up on my first 3K change and am thinking of going syn.? Is it "realy" worth the extra bucks? Thanks, Shawn
P.S. This forum kicks ass! Info, good...Yes! more info, must, keep, learning..

First, welcome to the club.

Second, whitch to synthetic. If you plan on keeping your Scooby for a long time (over 100,000 miles) your engine will thank you. Don't get me wrong, regular motor oil is fine, but synthetic is just a little better. It will definetly help your engine last longer! Just don't be alarmed if your engine startes having small oil leakes a bit earlier. The synthetics will find a way to get out.

Not a lot earlier, just a little earlier
