Cool 2002 comes w/sohc or dohc

All wheel drivers,

Anyone know if the 2002 will be turbo w/ sohc or dohc??? Also, will a normal aspirated RS be available or discontinued. Need to know whether to buy 2001 or 2002. Need to get used to new style of the 2002, but the sohc 2001 needs some oomph.

What to buy.....decisions decisions..

the N/A RS will also have the new body style and be rebadged as a TS ...ending the 4 limited porduction of the RS less than 20,000 total for all years made

DOHC according to the cut away pics that I've seen. Also it will have some sort of variable valve timing system.

Where'd the TS info come from? That's more detail than I've heard about N. America's 02--I'd like to know more. (Isn't the TS what they call the L in Canada already?)

I'll be happy if some non-turbo 2.5L wagon with moonroof and LSD comes out. RS/TS/OB Sport--doesn't matter.

From what I've read on this board its a 2.0L N/A motor with variable timing.

Its DOHC, thats what the previous WRX had and I don't think from what I read on the Japanese site that it says anything about SOHC. The new EJ20 gets its extra torque from the 30% larger intercooler and slightly larger turbo.

So what exactly did they change on the new engine, besides the bigger turbo/IC, and variable valve timing? How similar is it to the previous EJ20?

From the photos I saw of the new engine seems like the headers are bigger too.
