Post No turbo impreza in 2001

Word is out on stage ii web site, that the Fuji Industries back out on the European model wrx to come the north America.

They have decided on the supercharged version (from the stx SUV engine)

I don't know it's true but, I'm getting worried.....

Do you mean 2001 or 2002? The MY02 was supposed to be the first turbo Impreza to the US, & that will be the new bodystyle. It would be neat to get a supercharged version in the current bodystyle this year though!

Well, if they were listening to us on this web site they would have realized that 95% of the people here like the torque of the motors and aren't nuts on the high-end power. This, IMHO, would just make sense since the SC would do just that rather then the TC causing all high-end power.

Yeah, that was posted in a message board just like this one. Do you believe everything you read on this board? LOL.

Rumors are still rumors. Subaru has not announced, nor denyed anything.

Once Subaru Of America says: This is how it is, then we can say "Yuk" or "Oh Joy!".

Oh yeah, what's the title of the post? It do not WRX. Huh? And the notation that it's going to be an XT6? I mean, come on. Why not just bring back the SVX.

My friend has the 5 year business plan from Subaru. All dealers should have this now. It says Subaru will be introducing Turbo models and a truck. It did say models plural. So we might get more than one fellas.
