Post Hey randy

I love the switch you have for the battery relocation. What is it, where did you get it, and how much. I have to buy a moroso or summitt battery box and I want to see if I can afford the whole thing now or not

Hey randy I have a question too...

How is your intake? You bolted a filter straight to the throttle body right? Does taht cause a lot of turbulance? I'm trying to decide to go with either a ram air intake under the scoop or a cold air box intake on the side

The switch came from "vic hubbard" at about $20-30. They also have "kit" w/ 2 gauge wire
battery hold downs and some wire ties and a grommet. That was another 30-40...the switch we mounted on a simpson wood connector, but anything could work...we also covered it with "pretty" vinyl:-) I think I saw an optima battery in your car so that part is done.

The intake is great...and I am sure there is a"ram air" effect, although I don't know how much. I am in process of getting a "bell"
made for our cars (what I have now is just left over pieces that barely fit but do work)
The cold air idea is good, but if there is any piping in the engine compartment, it MUST
be plastic or insulated from the heat or you lose the whole effect. Remember, 2% gain for every 10 degrees drop in temperature. Metal conducts heat and can become "heat soaked" just by being in the engine compartment. Also, I was "told" that carbon fiber conducts heat very well.
