Cool Florida's Big Meet a success!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made it out. It was really good putting faces with names and checking out all the different mods I see for sale but had never seen in person. Everyone was very easy to talk to and willing to answer questions, it felt like we all knew each other from before the meet (whoa, that's kinda scarey, I spend to much time on the web!).

A special thanks to Nero & Bottle who came out from Powerhouse Racing and showed off (and sold) some Cusco Strut Bars, Apexi AFC, G-Tech's and more, they also had a raffle for a $25 gift certificate. I and everyone else appriciate the enthusiasm you are putting towards the Impreza market in Florida.

Here's the list of attendee's (I hope I didn't forget anyone! I tried to write everyone down!):
Micheal Stewart (SkiDaZZle) - '99 RS (Turbo) - People's Choice, wrxwannabe is bringing you something from Austrailia as an award!
Drew Parsons (GOTA25RSIMPREZA) - '99 RS
Ward Wright - '98 RS
Matthew Brill - '95 L Sedan
Mark English - '00 RS Sedan
Richard Antonio (Sanders) - '00 RS Sedan
Andrew Rodi (Sc00by25RS) - '99 RS
John Edwards (Formula1) - '00 RS
Mark Tuccio - '00 RS
Jim (SubieFL) - '00 RS Sedan
Nick Catalfamo (NickCat) - '99 RS
Neal Tovsen (SUV-ETR) & Katie Lacey (RSChic) - '99 RS
Will (Opie), April (Smallalien) & Darci (Smallalien Jr) Conklin - '00 RS

Can't wait for the next one, hope to see some of those pictures everyone was taking too!

Have to completly conccur with Opie, the meet was great. It was really nice just to see a few other Subarus. In my neck of the woods they are few and far between. And there really is nothing like the smile you get on your face when your in a caravan of Subarus scaring while terrorizing downtown Orlando!

Sorry I didn't get to talk more with all of you. Just mean's we'll have to do this again sometime.

And next time I'm taking home the people's choice award, with my little turbo Impreza i'm cooking. Course that's whenever we have a next meet. Just one request... next time... let's pick a little more central location. Orlando is a tad far for us southern boys.

I will post the pics as soon as I get my camera... forgot it in the car... and lacking the energy to go grab it...

It was really great meeting you all!

Becky and I had a fantastic time, but 75 miles out of Orlando, there was a nasty accident causing a wicked backup. We then got off the turnpike and found some fantastic rural roads and still made it home in 3 hours. I also had a nice chat with a young saleswoman at Classic Subaru who is going to purchase an RS and join the club.

Will/Eric, thanks for organizing everything.
