I've tried the green pads, very good, not much dust, very good from cold and never overheated on the road (I have got bigger slotted discs though), and much more bite than standard

Only downside I found was that they didn't work for the first application after washing the car, only momentarily till they dried the discs but this doesn't happen with oem pads

I heard that they only had an application for the front brakes! Last time I looked I had brakes in the back too. I guess its just a gimmick, if we did not need rears they probably would not put them on the car. Oh-well, hopefully they come out with an application for all 4 corners, then I'll try them.

I just ordered the fronts (green stuff) and am looking forward to "not" cleaning my white wheels all the time. I am also hoping they don't eat my rotors like the mintex 1155s do (they do stop good). Maybe those complaining about no rear pads don't realize the fronts go about twice as fast, cuz they do most of the braking...unless you are coasting to a stop:-)

Thumbs up

Hi, i've had the eEBC green stuff pads in a Renault 5 Turbo for a couple of years and they've always been s**t hot and now i've got a STI i will be putting them on as soon as the current pads wear out, I know for certain that they do green, red, and the yellows for the fronts and greens for the rears but the yellows are more for track use, but if your a bit hard on the brakes then go for reds in the front and greens in the rear.

Ive tried greens on my car and i hated them, i found very little bite, prone to fade and lots of dust.

I do drive hard but they were a huge disapointment to me.

The best fast road pads i have ever used (and i have tried everything, believe me) have been the Ferrodo DS2000, they dont eat disks, work from cold, can stand track day use and give massive bite. I simply cant fault them.
