Have a Nice Day? Gas leak outside my building.....

Constuction crew hit a gas pipe. Apparently it smells in here. However I am sick, so I can't smell a thing. We're all gonna die.

The funny thing is, one of the managers came back and said "Also, it may be a wise idea if all smokers refrained from lighting up"

Um, if I were your company I'd evacuate... if something happens that is massive lawsuit against them in addition to the suits against the construction company...

Here's the thing, we would have to drive right past the leak. I am assuming that the gas co. is out there trying to shut it off......................It's making a cool whistle sound though.

Well they shut it off, no more whistle sound, building still stands, and they continue digging.
.
It's not the first thing they hit, and I am sure it's not going to be the last. Last week was fiber.

Just too give you an idea of the stupidity. Monday they were digging, hit concrete 6' down and proceeded to jackhammer though it. This is after hitting tape that says "WARNING FIBER OPTIC CABLE"
.
I work in a telecom. switch. We have nothing but fiber running in and out of this place.
