Post WRX Sortages?

How many are being imported? Will their be any problem getting one? How much have people been quoted for price. I've heard between 1000-1500 over INVOICE.

One of the main reasons I am not getting one is because there will be way more thant the current models ont he roads soon enough and one of the reasons I got my RS was to be different.

I dont think there will be a problem getting them. But I do think they will raise the price soon, because it is cheap. I think it depends on where ur from. Call around to AlL the dealers and see what they say Good luck

Yep, it all depends on how badly people in your area want them.

I was told at the dealership the car is a very low production car like our RS's. 5000 units.
The dealer said he wasn't to excited about it coming out because only being able to get his hands on 1 or 2 a month isn't that important to him when he could sell x amount of legacies, outbacks, etc.

10000 units, has been quoted from many and varied sources, at the behest of SOA.

Initial supply will ramp up slowly, so in the beginning each dealer will likely get only a handful. That's no reason to pay over MSRP, though they'll likely be able to charge over Invoice for some time. $1000 wouldn't be awful, considering invoice will probably be mid-$22s. That's 5%?

There are a number of dealers signed up somewhere on this list to sell you a car at MSRP if you want/must have one right off the boat. They're low production, but there are still current generations RSs on dealer lots, so obviously they made a few more than there were buyers...

10,000 cars, 600 subaru dealers... Thats under 20 cars for the first year for each dealer... (Some might have more due to requests)
