Question annoying, high pitch squeaking driving me nutz!

I have a 00RS, and all of a sudden one day I noticed that it was squeaking alot. Any slight bump or ruff road and it would squeak up a storm. Its truely embarrassing. I'm just wondering if any one else has had this problem? And if so, what did you do? What was causing it? Did it stay away?... that type of stuff, any feed back is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ahhh, someone else with the annoying squeaks that sound like a styrofoam cooler is in your passenger seat. After much investigation, I found the culprit, and a solution.

If you open your passenger door, slide the passenger fron seat all the way foreward and then look underneath the seat (from the back) you will notice two hog-ring clips that secure the back peice of fabric to the underseat frame. They clip through the fabric and around a metal mount on the seat. Believe it or not, the hog rings vibrating on the seat frame make all that squeaking.

How did I fix it you ask! Simple, I ran two small wire ties together, looped them through both hog ring clips, then tightened them up. Now that they are secured together, they don't vibrate and cause the squeak!

PM me if you have any other questions!
