Default Armrest extension changeout

Greetings, I am the proud owner of an Sti that came with the armrest ext option. I find the armrest to be in the way when changing since I am height challenged. I picked up a used WRX lid (refuse to pay 65 for new one) from Flatiron Subaru, and am looking for any thread or help on how to replace.
many thanks.

Lift it up and remove the two screws on the bottom. Install the new cover and screw it in. Two screws should be pretty easy.

you have to change the latch also... but yes, it is a very simple swap.... with a phillips in hand, non powered, i could do it in literally probably 5 minutes or less... and I am not particularly adept with toolz ;P
