Post 48hrs: Fund Raising, Sponsors, Press Release...

Ok folks who are helping out on the 48hrs....

MADD:
So far McDade is working with MADD to figure out that end. Jay maybe we should contact a local chapter in NNJ to get the ball rolling?

Sponsors:
Anyone who wants to help out here by checking in with their local performance shops and/or dealers to see if they would like to sponsor this event. We are always looking for donations for the charity (MADD this year) or other goodies for the folks who are doing this event such as mugs, t-shirts, posters etc. MSPT has already given us some Subaru Mugs! In return they'll get a link on the 48hrs of Tri-state page and be mentioned in the press release.

Press Release/writeup:
Anyone who wants to help on this would be greatly appreciated. We'd like to get this out to newspapers, DRIVE MAGAZINE, etc. and make some news.

Thanks in advance for any/all help.

-mike

im awaiting a reply. She said the holiday season is very busy for them, and even though I started this in early october, it takes awhile for them to get back to me.

so it has to come from the national office. I dont see it being a problem yet, waiting for a call back. Either way the money will go to MADD, even if I just have to drop it off at a local chapter. Just hold off on using their logo right now. Im calling her tomorrow afternoon.

i'd talk to my boss at work(toyota dealer) but shes not really into this, unless we were to make a "save he horses" fund donation or something.. that..and it'd be weird to have a toyota dealer sponcering a suby-drive

Murray
185/70-14 = 24.2" diameter
205/55-16 = 24.9" diameter
