Post Construction zone fun???

I was cruising down the highway at about 55mph through a construction zone last night and I noticed the perfect spacing of the tall skinny pylons they use. I thought... I could slolom those sooo easily at this speed, but I held back. What kinda ticket do you think that would get me???

Have a Nice Day?

It is tempting isn't it....?

I think you would probably get at least a reckless driving, maybe more. But whatever ticket you do get, fines are usually doubled in construction zones (all that I have seen anyways...)

You'll only get in trouble if you get caught On a trip from Atlanta back to Tampa I was presented the same opportunity on I-75...so I went for it! I was being followed by some friends who all thought I was crazy for doing it.

The way I look at it, setting those cones up like a slalom on the highway is like opening up a frosty beer in front of an alcoholic...what do you think is gonna happen?

Around here they use reflectors in between the dashed lines in the middle of the lanes. Sometimes late at night I slalom those (yes, at excessive speeds). Oddly enough, I got my highest speed out of a particular set last night. With just a rear sway bar set to 22mm I used to run them 45-49mph, now with my suspension and setup decently I ran them 59-60mph and I still coulda squeezed another 5 or so mph out of it if they hadn't ended so early!
