Post JC Sports intake and blown MAF

Hi all- how many out there have a JC Sports intake? How many with one have suffered a blown MAF? Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

BTW- removong the silencer from insyide the fender made a huge difference in engine responsiveness and free reving- I hgighly recommend this mod. only downside is buttoning up the panels inside the fender well. I'll need to take my subie back to the dealer to get it done right. Too many (and too many different type) clips.

as far as I know, one enormous ZERO number of people have had blown MAFs with JC Sport intakes. Yep. Not one has reported in any problems.

Someone blew theirs as a result of over-oiling their intake... otherwise they've been fine, which to me is odd because my JC intake really jumps around with the motor.

Have a Nice Day?

The JC Sports intake will rattle around a lot if you don't use 2 extra clamps. I'll send pics when I have the roll developed.
I have had no probs. JC advertises on their website that it will not, so if it did, I would imagine they could risk some false advertising suits. http://www.jcsports.net/
