Have a Nice Day? Cracked Heads. Radiator Broke.

Hi friends,
What is the relation between a radiator broke and a craked heads?
One fault cause the other?
How can i check if the cylinder heads are broke?

The relationship is that when the radiator brakes the motor gets hot and that causes the heads to "expand" and eventually crack. The only way I know how to check for cracked heads is to take them off and send them to a machine shop to be checked.

Thanks. Ok, my car runn with the radiator broke a few meters i stop the engine, and some amount of coolant (i think a lot) were in the system.
What do you think?
this happend to you ?
what things should i need to know?

I had an '89 325i bmw & My thermostat failed on me...I started seeing the temps rise HIGH...so I cranked the windows down (summer time) and Turned the blower on full blast so that the engine heat would enter the cabin, cooling the engine slightly...I drove 2-3miles doing this & the car drove fine after having the thermo fixed and the AC replaced (doing what I did helped the car, but ruined my AC )
