2000 Subaru Outback

Unhappy Faulty OB speedometer needle

I have a faulty speedometer needle in my 2000 Outback. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Where do I begin?

Dirty with some mud flaps


my fuel gage on mine 99 LOB does not work at all.. sometimes its full.. then the gas light go's on.. i just keep filling up every 250 miles..
