Pulled over - 4 times (excluding road checks)

Tickets issued - 1 (67 in a 55) - pled not guilty, cop didn't show up in court (twice), case dismissed. (I really didn't think I was speeding, and I had a witness who was standing in his yard when I went by who was willing to testify on my behalf)

Years driving - 27

I bet I've got you all beat. I've had 9 incidents in the past three years where I should have been issued a ticket. Yet I haven't a single ticket on my record. This is due largely to my ability to talk my way out of anything. Only one of those 9 times was I given a citation, but later got it dismissed in court(without a lawyer).

Edit, and no I'm not related to any police officers or public officials.

Have a Nice Day?

a lot

don't know

maybe stopped like 8 times to much.
some tickets i don't like to count
speeding, saftey check, no plates when my car was new, few tickets for no insurance card in car, one seat belt. questioned about my spoiler, recon, exaust. no front plate after scca ( need that cool air yeah lah). basic speed rule too. 42 in a 35. 74 in a 50.

most was with the impreza and a few was with the stang.

i never got stopped for more bullshet than that with the impreza. its just what the cops looks for.

i think you can speed more with a geo metro than with the impreza. just cause of the looks. but i LOVE my car.

Never ever in my life!
Years of driving: 14
I sense cops, a strange gut feeling , off the gas and there's the cop. Always works.
And I do speed.
Expected to get pulled over all the time when I bought the car, but my mature looks and presence makes the cops pass on me(haha)

I've been driving for 14 years...
Let's see if my memory will serve me.

Pulled over:3
Tickets: 1

First time, I was driving my mom's Thunderbird-that big V8- I got pulled over and a ticket. That was 13 years ago, so it's long off of my record.
Second time was probably 8 years ago, I was late for work and buzzing along in my little VW Rabbit. NH State Police officer was really cool, and just gave me a warning.
Third time was in my OBS just this spring. I just finished playing a late hockey game, and was rushing to get home. I didn't realize what the speed limit was (30mph) and was doing about 45. The cop was really nice. Asked if I'd won my game, and was watching the Stanley Cup playoffs. I told him I was rooting for Colorado because of Ray Bourque, and he said, "I'm originally from Colorado, my family is friends with one of the Avalanche (Klemm)" I knew right then that I wouldn't be getting any ticket. He was nice, so now I ALWAYS go 30 mph by that rink.

I just got the RS, and that car just begs to be driven fast...so I'll really have to watch myself!

Thumbs down

Driving for 14 years

'76 Honda CVCC
Pulled over = 0
Tickets = 0
Summary = No cop would embarass himself enough to pull this rust bucket over.

'86 Honda Civic
Pulled over = 30 times
Tickets = 18
License Rvk = 2 (nullified thanks to traffic school)
Summary: Most tickets from speeding between college and home. One for being an Untied Load (i.e., hanging out the window). One running a stop sign (officer: Son, you didn't even slow down). One illegal turn. Don't get me started on campus parking tickets (towed twice).

'93 Mazda 626
Pulled over = 6 times
Tickets = 0
Summary: Scariest one when pulled over leaving a bar and given full boat DUI test. Passed. Phew.

'96 Jetta GLX
Pulled over = 12 times
Tickets = 6
Summary: All speeding.

That reminds me, I need to go pay my last ticket today to get my license back. Stupid Libertyville cops.

Driving 37 years.
Stopped 19 times in the 1st 2yrs of driving before 1st ticket issued.
Since then...too many to count.
My ratio of tickets to 'pull overs'is about
1 in 8 I'd say.
My secret to successful speeding: Pick your spots, like no school zones, residential neighborhoods. Dont weave, just going fast is okay. But dont bounce from lane to lane.
BIG THING. Give the cop something else he can write you for if he's inclined to give you any break. What I use is a combination.
1) no front plate (req'd in NY) 2) Even when I have it, I claim that I dont have my license with me. 3) I dont carry my insurance card. The cop can ticket you for each of these things but none of them is a 'moving violation' therefore they can be cleared by showing that you have the missing items and usually with no fine and no points.
Sorry for the length of this post, but 'try it you'll like it' this stuff works.

I assume you meant in our Subies...

Once, pulled over for going 82 in a 65. The cop looked over the car, asked me what the FIA Gp.N decal stood for, then said "very nice, is she street legal?". I told him that Gp.N cars - all rally cars for that matter must be street legal withing the country they are running. He asked if I had a business card (gave him one), then he said "just take it easy OK!". And away I went NO TICKET...

Been driving for 18 yrs.
Have hade maybe 7 tickets in that time. most when I was younger (34 now).

Can I borrow a few peoples' fingers and toes? I don't have nearly enough...

On the bright side, I've only gotten 6 speeding tickets... Still waiting for the emminent "Wreckless Driving" ticket.

Which brings me to another point... isn't the point of driving for it to be WRECKLESS? I mean, wreckless = no wrecks... so.... what's the problem officer?
