Post New Impreza 3d modeler? Hey!

I haven't seen anything about this, but on http://accessory.subaru.co.jp/impreza/custom/wfree.html
if you click the blue button marked in Japanese under the "3dgo" button, and then click on the blue button at the top of the page that gets opened, you can download a self extracting archive for Windows. Put this into its own directory and extract it. It will create a setup program. Run this. Buttons should show up that look vaguely recognizable as Next>> (except in Japanese or gobbeldegook, depending on what fonts you have installed). Click the nextish looking button until it finishes installing.

Mine installed here:
C:\Program Files\SUBARU\SUBARU 3DCG ExteriorViewer

Run the DM.exe program. It should create an icon on your status bar below your clock. Then, go back to the Subaru page and pick the color that you want your car and what trim pieces you want.

Then, click the 3dgo button. If you have DM.exe running, a window should open up that downloads something (about 2.5M) , then another window opens up, and you have your new Impreza on your screen. Click and drag to rotate the car as you like.

Then, push the "rec" button to get a nicely rendered bitmap of your mischief. Rinse, and repeat.

Sorry if people have already posted about this.

P.S.: I couldn't get this to work from behind the firewall at work, but at home it works just fine.

Damn, that was a lot of work.
I only wish I could understand all of the options. I ended up with that HUGE STi wing. Looks like it could fly.

PS. Thanks for the info.
