Default Dynocomp Ecutek

Has anyone had there ECU reflashed at Dynocmp. they have a package for $655. Includes high flow filter and reflash and tuning. I was wondering how any of you liked it, if you had them do it. I could go with Cobb for just $400 and mail it in, but I would then have to take it someone to tune and check it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. This is the only mod I will probably do to my 2003 WRX.
Thanks in advance.

I had it done and a friend i work with had it done. I took out my link and had them flash it. my car is not stock, but my friend is almost stock, he has an intake and exhaust.
my car has spent about half the day on the dyno as they got some great tuning done. the problem was the short ram filter. it runs ALOT better than it ever did with the link ecu. let them do it. they got the dyno. go take a look at their shop if you have not been there. its awsome. and if you ever have any questions about the tuning, they are always there to help.

DO it, they perosnally tune it, COBB i believe just goes with a generic map, your car will be a totally different car, they were also able to raise my redline!

Thanks for the input, I'll check it out. By the way, does this remap do anything for the low end power. AKA does it reduce the turbo lag?

i would say so because the boost, timing, and fuel values are tweaked throughout the entire rpm band so for a smooth power curve

When it comes to EcuTek you can control all ECU parameters. Timing, Fuel, Boost, yes but many more things. I can't speak for Richard but we typically see a big gain not only down low but throughout the power band. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. We are happy to help. Thanks.

This is a good package. It makes good power all the way across the board. After dialing your setup in on the dyno it gives earlier spoolup and major power at redline. The dyno charts will speak for themselves. This package is a good platform for more mods in the furure because ECUTek can be retuned to support them.
Give me a call or stop in.

I think you still have to pay for Dyno tuning time.
