Default Need 0-60 time comparo 95-04 (OZ included)

I am curious to know whether the new base 2.5i OBW is faster than previous versions and even more interested in the OZ version which is the new body style. Given that it is lighter in weight and a couple of HP more, is the 0-60 time improved? Comments from OZ please!

My guess is that 0-60 times have been more or less constant over the years and I am further guessing that 2000 and newer models might have been actually slower than the 2.5s of earlier models. Am I right?

Yeah, the 1st gen OB's were slow, but the 2nd gen OB's were even slower because of the weight gain! The 3rd gen 2.5's 0-60 time should be back in line with the 1st gen cars.

How's that for progress?

No aussie mag has tested a manual 2.5, but it should be low 8s 0-62.
