Arrow Syms Products

I was looking at Syms Products on the web and it looks like they make some high quality, expensive parts. My question to you all is, Are they worth it? I was looking at the short throw shifter they make and it looks very nice. If anyone has any experience with Syms please feel free to share. I was a big Honda fan and I know Mugen is the best for Honda, I think Neuspeed is the best for VW, soo is Syms the best for Subaru? Thanks for the help once again

I don't think it is the best. Maybe some parts are better than other but there are no "best" parts out there I think. There are bad parts though, so remember that. I think that SYMS stuff is very very very high quality stuff. I don't know if you guys knew, buy SYMS is related to FHI. SYMS stands for Subaru Yajima Motor Sports. SYMS's mother company Yajima is a contractor for FHI. They make all the "pressed" parts such as floor pans, x-members, ect.

I have the syms shifter and all parts but the shifter arm and arm that goes to the trans. are the same exact parts as the 00-01 RS. Made by FHI. it is a waste to buy the exact parts for over $300.

SYMS is very high quality, but much of the product is for the JDM spec WRXs, so a lot of the stuff they make, the ECUs, headers, exhausts, are really designed for turbo vehicles(they do have a NA header, but it's for the 2.0litre engine in the japanese spec imprezas).

I have the strut braces though, very nice build quality and very pretty under the hood.
