Default 2005 Outback Delay

I'm not sure if I was being scamed, but my wife and I went to test drive a new '04 Outback at Rancho Subaru in San Diego. When I asked the Salesman when they expected the '05 to come out, he replied in 9 months. I told him from everything I've read they were scheduled to appear in about May. He replied they just received the news from SOA. Has anyone heard of any production delays, or was this obviously wet behind the ears "Lot Jockey" looking for a quick sale on Sunday afternoon.

Lyin, dirtbag, carsalesmen!

I "signed up" to be notified of information releases for the new Legacy/OB on the Subaru.ca web-site. What do they do? They sent me a brochure for the 2004!

Circular file that!
