Default Replacing front fog light bulbs

I just got Sylvania H3 SilverStar bulbs and would like to replace my current OEM bulbs. I reviewed the Subaru manual and for Front gog light, the manual states It may be difficult to replace the bulbs. Have your SUBARU dealer replace the bulbs if necessary.

So, how difficult is it to repalce the bulbs? Any suggestions?

not impossible, but certainly a pain in the a** you basically have to remove or unclip the plastic underbody from under the foglights and the tire well, and then its pretty much like changing out a headlight but the only problem is that there are metal plates in the way and they are in a very awkward position. you can also only fit one hand at a time behind the fog light so removing the cap, removing the retention clip, unplugging the bulb, plugging in the new one, ALL have to be done with one hand; that is what makes it a pain in the a**. it can be done, and myself and many others have done it, but i am not looking forward to having to do it again.
