Have a Nice Day? Exhaust gas smell in car...

It started 2 days ago. Very weird. I thought that it is running too rich(intake, S-AFC), but I checked the plugs(what a pain) and they are light brown/grey, so perfect.
Wonder if the Borla catback is leaking.
Or what else could be it? Cracked header would be audible, I guess.

Sniff around while the car is running. Find where the exhaust smell is the strongest since there are a plethora of possible options. Once you have narrowed it to a general area, look for any fuel/exhaust systems within that area. It could be any number of things from a failed exhaust gasket to a fuel leak on a hot manifold. My suggestion is to find a general area where the smell is the strongest and then hunt around there.

if it was a cracked head or head gasket the car would overheat immediately...

Have you splashed through any big puddles lately. I've read a couple stories of exhaust mans getting cracked that way, especially since it's so close to the ground on our car...dunno just a guess.

Turn your S-AFC to super rich. Drive for couple days then inspect the exhaust to find carbon built up.
