Default Goodyear F1 GS-D3

Does anyone have experience with this tire?

I did a search and came up empty-handed.

So far, I have run Bridgestone RE730's and Firestone SZ-50EP's on my WRX.

Both performed well on wet an dry roads and lasted about 30,000 miles.

The SZ-50EP's are close to the wear bars, and I am thinking about going with the Goodyears next.

Any opinions? If you have used the F1 GS_D3's and either of the other two tires that would be even more helpful.

I have F1s for about 3 months now and love them!!!

The wet traction is simply amazing, you can drive and break in 2 inches of standing water and not notice a difference vs dry pavement. Dry traction is very good too. Plus it is a pretty good looking tire.

I got mine in 225/45/17 for $145 a piece from treadepot.com

The tire's name is actually Eagle F1 GS-D3, not GS D3. Try searching for "GS-D3" and you will get a lot of hits.

I personally have no first hand experience with these tires. I had read a lot about them when tirerack first started stocking them. I really wanted them last spring(?) but they were on backorder for ever so I went with some Yokohamas. I later read some reviews on tirerack and some people were complaining about vague turn in. Again though, you have to take those reviews with a grain of salt.
