Angry stoopid #%$&in teenagers

So I pull up to a stop light today after a hard days work, and in the car next to me is 3 kids (prob around the age of 16) in a Mitsu Diamante. Well the light turns green and I start to roll when I hear what sounds like change hitting my car and then bouncing on the ground. It turns out they trew a handful of change at my car. I let them catch up and ask them to pull over so i can get their information, I knew they wouldnt but it was worth a try, they end up talking smack to me all while lauging and smirking, which just pissed me off even more. Couldnt get them to pull over, couldnt do anything but take the brute from a bunch of little ****tards. Got the guys license plate # and am waiting to get their info from a friend. What should i do? Get even or call the cops? After all it didnt do much but leave a couple small chips on my baby......I'm right now!!!!!!!!!

just write down their plate numbers
or you can follow them home and tell thier mom what they've done
haha
so thier parents won't let them drive for a couple of month

call the cops...if they don't do anything then get even.
But wait before you do anything...like 6 months or so. That way it can't be traced back to you so easily.
Also, after 6 months you may cool down and decide it's not worth it. If you're still pissed after 6 months then they probably have it coming.
Things have away of evening out, also. A guy on here who i bought something from proceeded to blow me off when i complained that the deal wasn't fully consummated.
Saw a post of his recently griping about his engine getting blown.

I would call the police and be done with it. I wouldn't go to their house as IMHO that's asking for trouble.

In this day and age I think your oniy choice is to suck it up. The cops won't do anything and anything you are thinking of doing is probably going to get you in more trouble than them.

I was driving down the freeway one day and someone threw a rock at my car. It hit the passenger side rear window and took a cip out of it. as loud as it was I can't believe the window didn't break. I didn't see who did it but it was at a park where a walking/riding path went under the freeway. There was no way a car could have kicked up the rock. I still had the dealer plates on the car. It suck when you can't keep your car nice. At least it didn't hit the paint.

I know what I would have done... I get on the phone and start dialing....first call is to my friend 'Madness' and his brother 'Ultra-Madness'...
Follow the little bastards and give Madness and his bro directions and very soon the Power Wagon with the welded steel tube, 'bumpers' would arrive and asshats car would be in a real, REAL bad accident...then the fun would start with their ballsacks...

No mercy.

Hmmm, granted Im not sporting a $30,000 car, but.....

I would have accelerated in front of them, and rammed hard on the brakes. No matter what, they get the ticket for rear ending you. Is it a bit far to prove a point? Yea, but Ive been through hell with random crap to my car (people purposely thowing footballs at it, etc, hey its a college town) and the police will never do anything. Young kids crack me up, they are the first to start crap and the first to cry to rich mommy and daddy if someone retaliates....

Yea, I think in your situation with a nice car, you did the best thing.

If you had a cell phone, you should have followed the and called the cops. Cops would have shown up, and most likely given them some kind of ticket. Them getting away with it this time just makes them think they can do it again. Maybe the next person the screw with will have had a VERY bad day and a VERY big gun with him....

One of my favorite movie lines comes from "Fried Green Tomatoes":

"I'm older and I have better insurance."

If they damaged your paint, get their info and let the insurance companies deal with it. If you have a decent insurance company, they can create no end of unpleasantness for the driver of the other car and his lil buddies. BTDT, and enjoyed every single minute of it

This thread makes me steam...

Do whatever you can to get back or follow up with some sort of authorities.

Those kids will just keep doing what they're doing until someone shows that the outcome of their actions will be a negative result.

i say go at it james bond style. have compressed air launched spikes that go for the tires, and maybe get some electrodes that slide out the sides , front, and rear, that when they contact another car, it kill the engine, kinda like a low end emp or a purposeful short circut. then when their car is disabled, hmmm, from there, i guess you are on your own, im drawing a blank now. stupid kids.

I've been in a feud with the teens in my neighborhood now for about 3 years. The problem is that cops wont do anything and their parents simply dont give a damn or are not around.

I would call the cops and then file an insurance claim. Your company probably wont let it lie because it's going to cost them money.

Good luck,
Ben

I'm 17...

It's call JEALOUSY. A similar thing happened to me at school. These bastards decided it would be funny to slide across my hood, just to see if the alarm would go off. Then, the idiots came bragging to me that they did it.

Over all, it rippled the hood, left some scratches. The body shop quoted it as 1600 dollars to repair it. We went to the school resource officer, talked to both of their parents. The parents paid for a new hood/paint job.

If it would have been my old car, that I didn't really care about, I would have skipped the police, and just beat the **** out of them.

Back in high school I had some kid throw crap at me when I was in my RX-7 turbo. I made a call, found out where he lived, found out his mom was gone at work (It pays to have connections) beat him to his own house and was waiting for him in his own driveway when he got home from school....

I just don't understand how people can do that, jealous or not. It's flat out mean.

Well I finally found out where the kid lives so now I have to decide what I'm gonna do. I think I am going to call his mom and have a little talk with her and then go from there depending on how she reacts.

I've had sometime to cool off but I just dont understand. When I was their age and saw a nice car I would compliment the driver, not try to destroy it.
