Good thing you did cut the jugs and cans. The rear wing could have been pulled off!

Hey Travis,

Congratulations and thanx for posting the cool pix!

I'm glad I don't have to do that again.
I hope you never have to do it again, but you never know! One of these days, I'll post a photo of me and my second wife driving away from our wedding in my Impreza.

I've got some from last June, I'll scan mine and post.

Even if it is a bit cheezy.

Consider yourself lucky, my Sube couldn't make it to our wedding when we ran off to Vegas back in January.

Seriously, congratulations!

I noticed no one touched the paint, you have them trained well.

I had to wash a friend of mines car when a less than bright brides maid put shaving cream on the paint.... Oh well, she felt really bad when she found out the damage that it can cause.

Being Married is great, enjoy the ride...

Congratulations! I agree with you, marriage rocks. If I would have known how great it is, I wouldn't have waited until I was 28 to get married.

We expect to see some Subie pictures for your 50th wedding anniversary too!

Congratulations Man, Good luck on your future, but how dare those evil people defile a beautiful Impreza like that. At least they could have done some mods for you while they were at it. A sway bar here, a cat-back there goes a long way to say "we're happy for you"

Congrats, Man!

The Wife and I just got married on April 29th... (isn't it wierd saying "wife" )

Luckily my subie was nowhere near the wedding location... it was safe in the Hotel parking lot the night before... we took a limo from the reception.

I didn't want anyone *near* my clearcoat...

Good eye! That's my '99 coupe way back there. It was interesting to see the looks on everyone's faces as we left the reception. "Oh, look, isn't that the same kind of car Travis drives?" You bet your skivies sonny boy!! HA! I love this car!

Congratulations man...!!!
If she loves you as much as you love your Subie, you have nothing to worry about just hang on for the ride and enjoy, marriage is the best to me so far...
Although I think those bottles you attached to the rear wing... how many seconds did it give you per lap?

Cool pictures!!

Congradulations!!! Are the bottles conected to the wing? It looks like they are conected to the tow hook thing under the car, not the wing.

Cool A Subaru wedding (pics)

Here are the Subaru related pics from my wedding.
Here is my poor car, a lamb before the slaughter.

Even the brides maids helped. (silver dress)

Here's my brother putting the spoiler to good use.

Here's me and my wife getting in the car after the reception.

And finally us driving away. Check out the jugs tied to the back of the car. I guess they didn't have enough coke cans, so they started using big juice bottles. They made a helluva racket. Luckily I had a pocket knife in the car, I was able to cut them off about a block down the road.
This is the part of the day that we actually started to relax. I had no idea that it would be such an exhausting day. I'm glad I don't have to do that again.

Marriage rocks, BTW!

Thanks every one! We were married on March 25. It was with out a doubt the best thing I've ever done. Not a day goes by that I don't thank the Lord for bringing us together. We are both in agreement about when we want kids, a few years down the road. Hopefully I'll be done with school and we'll have only one car payment (MY02 turbo WRX, hey it could be a family car).
Yeah they did a good job on the car. I gave very specific instructions to my best man and my brother that nothing should go on the paint. My brother knows that I'll open up a can of whoop-a$$ on him if he messes up my car.
What they wrote on the windows was actually pretty funny. I was pretty nervous before the ceremony, so I was drinking Pepto Bismol (sp?) like it was water. On the back left side window one of the guys wrote "Got Pepto", like those milk commercials. It was a riot.
The jugs are tied to the rear tow hook. The only thing attached to the wing was the streamers. I actually left them on for the trip home. I thought they would have rippped off, but they held on even at highway speeds. Who woulda thunk?
Yup that's Bohanan's RS in the background. And actually that's it's owner in the first picture standing next to my brother (second from the right, white shirt & tie). Sorry Adam, your busted. Now everyone knows what you drive, where you live, and what you look like. You better watch your back.
Thanks again everyone
happily married in Austin
