Talking "My simple reasons for buying the new WRX"

1) New car
2) Factory warrantied TURBO!
3) Will be a very hot car anywhere you go
4) immediate mods: blowoff valve, exhaust, boost controller, good for 30hp?! now were up to 250 AWD, Thats a PERFORMANCE SPORTS CAR!
5) Its gotta be fun in the snow, like the RS
6) Yellow
7) Whether you "RS owners" admit it or not,
this is the car you would rather own,
its a WRX, the car that made you buy
your RS.
8) Chick magnet

Your points 1 thru 6 are valid.

Point 7... ahahaha. Well I do like the factory turbo. Saves alot less trouble than turboing the RS. But I still feel 99-01 style Impreza's are better looking. And a even better Chick Magnets. Or Guy Magnet depending which way you swing

I second the eart-shattering comment from Glenn. Assuming 25000 and 215 to 220 horse at least, it's a steal. I will miss my sunroof though, if I decide to buy a WRX.

Thumbs down

No sunroof? Who cares? All they do is weaken the chassis and reduce head room. Oh, I am 6'4", maybe that is why I hate sunroofs.

All kidding aside.
I'll take a white sedan, thank you.

If I had the money, and if it was available when I was shopping for a car, I'd buy the new WRX. Now I have to wait 2 more years to pay off my car and then sell it to buy the new WRX. Hopefully there will be STi versions which would improve over the first few year's of WRX iterations.

The one thing I don't like about the WRX is that there are going to be alot more on the road. It's going to be another DSM thing. I'll hold onto my RS, I like that is so uncomin. Watch in a year there will be honda vs. subaru wars.

I'm sorry, where I live I sure see alot more RS than any other Impreza models.
Also there still will be RS models. Just that they will be the base models. So RS models will still be around.
But I guess you're refering to the design. So I guess the E30 boxy bimmers are rare too and "nicer" than the E46 models.
