Cool OT: Motorcycle lust

Click on the RSV Mille R under "racing".

I'd probably take this over a Ducati 916. Damn I want one... or at least, I would like to ride on one (or a Ducati for that matter, then at least I could compare myself, rather than just read other people's comparisons).

OH my gawd. Where can i get one of those bad boys. Me want one, me want one now. I can just imagine it, pulling off an 11 sec. 1/4mi. run on a stock bike, scaring the @#$% outta the rustang behind you. HEHE, that'd be fun. So...are those available in the U.S. I certainly hope so.

Someone had to post this just as I have been going through a couple weeks of 'bike curiosity' ahhhhh

Interesting fact, that bike is 98 hp until you spend 90 minutes removing some restrictors and freeing up the 128hp.

Gorgeous, functional. I wish they made cars more like that.

I've always liked motorcycles but always been afraid of getting into an accident. I live out in San Jose, CA where there is tons of traffic. I've always wanted to experience the adrenaline rush of going 100mph on a bike...oooooo....How hard is it to learn?

It's not hard to learn but, i do suggest the you take your state run rider safety program..they teach you a lot of really useful things they provide a bike ( atleast they do in PA) and you just learn to ride. You pass you get your license.

Sorry guys, like most vehicles I want, these aren't available in the States.

The 0-60 time for this bike is somewhere under 2.9 seconds, and the top speed is about 170mph.

It's not all about speed though, as the chassis is supposed to be amazingly agile and the overall quality of the bike is very high. It has a very nice Ohlins suspension

Expensive for a bike (Ducati range), but not as expensive as some (ie. the Ducati homologation specials).

The only fear I'd have about riding a bike like this is some idiot on the road not seeing you, or not respecting your space.
