I dunno, but is that a LCD temperature gauge, or does this car have 70 miles on it?

Someone said they thought it was tied to some kind of shift indicator light?

Someone translated that the Sti has a built in shift light. It was said to be adjustable from 3000-8000 or something, this would probably be the way to do that......

It's a rev limiter adjustment knob, have seen them before on a lot of bikes and custom cars with them equipped. You can set your max rpm from probably 1500-8000 I guess I don't know that car, it is a performance application, that can be real useful if you know how to use, try to find out if it is programmable to each gear.

As a general rule, the driver cannot change the rev limit of the engine. I think that light is, as indicated above, to set the rev point the shift light comes on.
