Cool Automobile mag says it 247 Hp for US!!!!!

I was in the magazine section of a store and found a december issue of Automobile magazine and they say 247hp with 247 lbs of torgue. The price est.was 25000. But the stats on the engine are confirmed. If any one can scan it in that would be nice.

... and the fact it takes 45 days to go to press. I love the current RS setup except for the thin, tinny, borderline cheep doors... (sorry guys, no offense) and a little body flex. A stiffer body makes great format for suspension mods... and dare I say it, I like the cleaner styling of the new design! (INFIDEL!) But... oh no... did they screw up the steering to draw in the Soccer Moms? Light?!?!? Effortless?!?!? Uh-oh. I spend too much time on the freeway +-80mph and a little less wind noise would be nice. I want one, I want one, I want one!!!

I am officialy shutting down the WRX input section of my brain! It is taking up valuable memory space and is filled with useless non-confirmed info. I plan on re-instating the program when the WRX actualy hits the market.

I heard it was a 6WD with 4 turbos. One for each cylinder. It has lower emissions then the Honda Insight.

You want to talk speculation? Check this crazy business out....

My dealer here in San Diego (for those of you who live in SD, it's the one that shares it's building with Hun-day) tells me that the 2002 Impreza will drop the two door(i already knew that to be true) but the body style will still be the current style only with a TWIN TURBO. After telling me that, i kinda scratched my head and asked him again if he was sure about his info. I walked out there pondering what i'm more tired of hearing about, US WRX speculation or the FL vote count. Sorry to add to the speculation, but i just had to tell someone.

The magazine says and I quote:

(The U.S.-spec WRX will have between 220 and 230bhp,the japanese version produces 247bhp)
