Post resale value : Legacy vs. Impreza

Which do you think will retain better resale value? Something tells me the Legacy would.
Oh yeah throw in the Outbacks and Foresters if you like.... But let's not get carried away with XT6, SVX, Brats DLs, GLs etc...

they seem to really hold there value if ya keep em nice and under 60thou mileage wise. over sixty and outa warranty they tend to fade more in resale.

In California, Legacys sell like Hotcakes. As soon as one is listed in a classified section, it is gone. Also, my 87GL sold quickly, considering that the transmission and headgaskit was blown, A/C gone and gear oil leakage. But boy do I miss it. It had a cool little button on the shifter which allow the driver to activate the 4WD automatically.. Yes-sir-ree

that sounds alot nicer than my old 88 GL wagon. it had a seperate lever for the 4WD and a/c, ha.

i think the resale value of the impreza is going to drop abit in a few months b/c i predict a fair number going up for trade/sale sometime around march for some reason. what can i say, i'm psychic.
