I know exactly what you're going through. My driver's door worked it's way out to about a half-inch gap before i took it to the dealer. They adjusted it and said it was fine. Low and behold, a month later it had the same gap in it. When i took it back to have it fixed again they put locktight on the adjuster on the striker-plate. That fixed it for good. Tell them to put locktight on it so that you don't have to mess with it again. Hope this helps.

Question Driver-side door striker plate?

This happened once before and the dealer fixed it under warranty, but it's happening again. The drivers door doesn't close all the way and when I go around a right-hand corner, the "door-open" light comes on, as well as the interior light. I've turned off the interior light, but the door is still showing it's open, and I have to slam it hard in order to get the little red light to go off.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Is it something I can fix myself, or does it involve removal/adjustment of the door itself?
