Ahhh nuts, I didn't get over there tonight. Anybody for a late night meet at SOA HQ tomorrow night? Bring your digital cameras, your telephotos, heck even your sketch pads! Seriously, I'm going to try and get there tomorrow night.

Post SOA receieves 2 new Imprezas

Found this on the mailing list.:
SOA recently received two pre-production '02 models for evaluation. One WRX
sedan and one 2.5RS wagon. They were shipped air freight to US in two
crates. One is red and one is blue, not sure which is which though. They
are not badged and are disguised with plastic bits and such. So, if any of
you guys up around Cherry Hill, NJ see something kinda peculiar looking, and
yet somewhat familiar, take a good long look at it. Heck, maybe if give it
a run, I bet they'd play along!

I like how the cop is the one infiltrating SOA.

Unhappy

Aww, why ruin this board with turning every post into a debate about police? Is it really necessary? Maybe some should apply all of that energy elsewhere...

Suffice it to say that some like police, and some do not. Either way we're not going away...

As far as infiltrating, there's nothing against the law about going to their HQ and trying to see what you can see, if anything, through that fence. Sorry all, but I'm not about to cross any border that is intended to keep people out of the contained area. That's called tresspassing! (Yeah, cops do know the law, contrary to some people's opinions!)

Heheh, my sis lives 3 blocks from SOA Cherry Hill headquarters! I think once we saw a wierd Forester, turns out it was just owner-modded. I'll keep my eye's peeled and am definitely up for a little sneaking around their area!!

Actually the first Rimmer supercharged Subaru was a Forester that SOA had around the office.

I've actually enjoyed my conversations with Sev! Just hate to see a great club get so involved with O/T issues.

BTW, I still haven't gotten my butt over to SOA. Maybe tonight after the thunderstorms (ooooh, puuuddless).

Ok, just got back from SOA. There's a few MY00 RSs in the lot, many Outback Sport Wagons, but not much else. Hmm, wonder if they could fit a car in those bay doors...?

An interesting anecdote regarding my "infiltration":
On arriving at the back entrance two electronic gates were open, calling to me to enter in spite of the "private property" signs. So, I did. But before I did I sat there to see if the gates would close. Nope.
In I went. Cruised the lot looking at the other cars, figuring that SOA surveillance cameras were recording my every move (Hi guys!). Okay, nothing really interesting, so I guess I'll leave. Uh-oh, the gates are now closed! Hmm, maybe I'll pull up and they'll open... Nope. Now thinking of how I'm going to dial the 1-800 number for SOA and ask for someone to let me out without sounding too stupid, I decide to explore a bit (well, as long as they have me captive, right?)

Long story short, I found another way out, but if you decide to visit watch out for the back gate!

That happened to me and a friend at Ft Washington National Park once. When we went in the gates were open, but we watched the sunset over DC from down at the rivers edge and when we went to leave the gates were closed. After an hour of searching for a way out and considering ramming the fence and exiting thru someones yard, we stumbled upon the rangers house. After he yelled at me for disturbing quiet time at his house, he unlocked the gate and let us out. Geez, talk about uptight.

So you planted a camera in there right.
