Thumbs up What have I gotten myself into!?!?!?!

About 3 nights ago it was 120 degrees below zero here! Everytime I go outside my skin freezes instantly! It's light 24hours a day, the sun never sets. A big hole in the ozone, or so I hear. Everywhere I look there is snow and Ice, and I am left with no Subaru to rally in!

He's gotta be below the equator. The northern hemisphere has less daylight hours now. Well....unless he's on Colorado's highest peak where he gets a bit more daylight....hmmmm.

What you really need to do is ship the Sube (equipped with cold starter of course) and see what you can do tearing up Antarctica. No cops to chase you off! No roads! Just don't fall in the ocean.

Yeah! I wish! There are a few roads out here and they kickass! They are all rally-style roads! The really sucky part is that the speed limit is like 15-25mph! grrrr!

Yeah, not falling into the ocean! Just a minor technicality there! It is quite interesting being here though. I do miss the warmth and my Subaru a ton, but the stuff you get to see here is amazing! As soon as I can get a hold of a digital camera i can post some pics for everyone!

Pics would be great! I hope you're enjoying it there...that's something not many people will ever get a chance to experience.

I'm jealous.

What are you doing in Antarctica if you don't mind me asking (obviously work related)? Research?

Gets to a low of -40F to -50F where I'm at a few days every year. -120F...Burrrrrrr.
