Question Odd thing happened

I was driving home from work today and saw this Z28 in front of me staring at my car and he kept looking back at the stoplight we were stopped at. I figured he was just annoyed at my non-domestic car and thought it looked stupid but the light turned green and before he turned right (I was going straight), he turned to me gave me a big smile and a thumbs up! I was in shock needless to say I fainted and veered off the road into a light pole (not really). I never expected that!

Well, its not a Z28, but almost every day that I drive to or from work, some nut in a Grand Prix keeps trying to race me on the highway. I don't know if it's the same guy, but if it is, he has yet to learn that little Japanese boxes can move very quickly.

Hehehe, I feel for you guys...

Nobody in Vancouver laughs at people driving imports... cause EVERYONE drives imports over here...

I see 7-10 imprezas everyday at least, and I see anywhere from 5-10 Civics/Preludes for every 20 minutes drive that I take...

People here just look and give lots of "nice car" or... thumbs up

I've never been laughed at, just revved at

Exactly, I am in Vancouver too. I can only use the word "countless" to describe the number of civics and preludes here. Camaros are kind of rare here (way less than Imprezas I am sure), a little more of the mustang. and very few firebirds.

By the way, civic is "domestic" for us here. They were made in Ontario. :-)

The pizza delivery guy starred at my car for a long time. he was driving some 4 door mitsu with racing stripes, exhaust, and nice rims. (it was dark) He then asked "Nice car. Where did you get your 'kit'?"
"um, it came that way."
"What is it?"
"Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS."
"Like in the game?! That's awesome! I need to get one!"

hehe, I love it.

I had a similar experience, someone was looking at my car outside the house and said "is that one of those rally cars ?". I had to hold back the laughter as I explained it was just an Impreza TS sedan, must have been the mudflaps (North Ursalias' pattern by the way, cheers mate !)that confused him !

Rally car...hah, if only he knew.
