Unhappy Trunk Lights are expensive!

I e-mailed a junkyard about getting a trunk light. They said they'll ship it out to me for $75 + shipping. What is up with that?

I swear I saw it online brand new for $35...

Subaruparts.com has one for 40, I believe. good deal, if you ask me. An even better/cheaper solution is those tap-it lights for $.99.

Tap Lights...are those the ones I see on TV informercials? That's not a bad idea!

IIRC, the switch/latch is $20 and the stock light is also $20. I'm sure you can get them from your dealer, just specify parts off a 97.

Thumbs up

I have a tap light in my RS's trunk.. I think its streamlined dome and low weight is good for a couple of hp...
