in terms of accident investigation, yes.

no, the officer shouldn't read the ecu for a traffic stop. any idea how much training they'd need for all the different models out there?!?!

however, if you decide to fight your speeding ticket, then the court should expect you to defend yourself by providing what the ecu says.
