Default Jdm legacy gauges in us car?

Hi all, i'm wondering if anyone has every put the twin turbo gauges in a usdm car? Reason i say twin turbo is they are 95 and up.
I'm looking for a cluster with a higher tach in it. My only goes up to 7k and my new engine redlines at 8k rpm. Car is a 96 legacy. My other option is putting in the wrx cluster, but it doesn't fit well at all and will be a lot of work to make it look right.

wow, we are in the same seat. I am putting some 2.5 sti heads on my ej22t. I was thinking about making a custom tach. I was going to move my dummy lights from the oem tach, cut it out, and replace it with an autometer, or defi tach. Right now, ihave defi, and auto meter gauges, and am not sure on which i want to use.

the jdm cluster would be in kmh, that would blow.
