Default Will STi pinks/18x8 superleggeras be OK on STi?

I've read somewhere on this forum that according to [email protected] the 18x8's will work, I'm planning on the STi pink springs with stock struts. Anyone know if there's any rubbing problems with 225/40/18 or 235/40/18?

OZ is currently working on an 18x8 with a 48mm offset that will fit an STi but, the current model which has a 51mm offset will not clear the brakes

Its either a hit or miss w/ rubbing issues. I recently went through the same thing as you, trying to figure out what will and wont work, only to come to the conclusion that there is no way to tell unless you try it. If you get lucky, they wont rub, if you're not lucky, theyll rub.

That being said, the chance of the 225s rubbing is less then that of the 235s rubbing.

I'm getting my 18x8 GC010E's this week and will report my results with Pinks/strut tops and Toyo T1S 235/40/18 once they're on.
