Default Seat cover and tire question.....

This has been probably asked a zillion times but I'm new and the search turned up nothing.

1. Does anybody run larger tires on the baja? I just got one and the wheel wells look huge. I put larger tires on our Element as lot's of folks do and it rode better and had better ground clearance and looks nicer.
Yeah, I know they say not to and the speedometers readings are off, yada yada.

2. Anybody bought any neoprene seatcovers from a good source? Got them on the Element and they are great if you spend a lot of time playing outside.

Thanks for any info.

wow, my two favorite cars!

I haven't even thought about larger tires, but probably will once I wear the originals out.

As far as the neoprene's are concerned, Wet Okole in Hawaii absolutely makes them for the Baja, as I visited the factory last Sept. while on vacation. One warning, though: Make sure you remove them on a regular basis, and clean any sand that gets trapped between, or it will abrade the leather. Ignore that advice if you don't live near sugar-sand beaches like me.

Now if someone just would've built them with neoprene seat covers in the first place..................SOA, are you listening?

Default I am running 235/50/18's

Sure looks better, plus I expect to get less wandering at speed and better cornering.
