Lightbulb ATTN - Ms. Legacy GT owner. rotate yer damn tires

I saw a '00-ish Legacy GT in traffic today. decent shape, could use a wash. but the wheels stood out like black and white... so to speak. You know the Legacy GT rims right? a bunch of spokes... kinda BBS'ish. The rears on hers were fine. bright silver. The fronts were so covered in brake dust that they were somewhere between gunmetal and powdercoat black. it was dreadful. how the hell do you let them get that dirty? if she'd taken the car to a car wash within the last 6 months they'd most certainly be cleaner. this was uncommonly bad... and these are nice wheels!

Not only does that show a lack of concern for the appearance and physical health of the body of the car, but a lack of understanding of AWD. her center diff HATES her. she hasn't rotated her tires in well over 8 months IMO. the diameters have to be drastically different. if it's an auto, it must be chattering like a pack of mad monkeys around low speed turns. I be she's cursing her car for breaking down on her.

Very common around here with benz and beemers. Apparently, rich folks think expensive cars are harder to damage than CF

they were probably axxis ultimates. those puppies make more brake dust than a guns n roses tour bus going through the redlight district. She most likely was an autocross supertaaaaa on the weekends, and just smoked the ish out of your local 1/4mile.

she didn't look like the sort that would be sporting pads other than what the nice folks at her local dealership would put on. very "common stock human".

Well she was ugly then? If she was then here's my theory...
Ugly people start off ugly. Most of the ugly people try to be less ugly. If she was to rotate her tires since she is ugly she is poor. Since she is poor she would have to do the work herself. The brake dust would make her dirty, thus making her uglier than her normal state. If she doesn't want to go deeper into the ugliness then she must keep clean. Thus the un-rotated tires.

w0rd. My car equipped with axxis ultimates fits the above description if I fail to wash it every week.

I have a friend with a BMW 3 series, and his stock pads dust even worse than my ultimates.

Our Outback is wearing Axxis Ultimates in the front, my father in law is usually the one driving it and the front wheels are always black unless I wash them once/twice a week.

Those pads truely are the ultimate in dust generation. They sure stop well though.
