Default s-afcII how to tune with auto HELP

well we installed a s-afcII on my friends wrx. its an auto so this might be part of the problem (not sure). well after you get to about 4000 rpm's the car will start bucking and doing random bad things. It almost feels like it is hitting a rev limiter. The mods are full exhaust upipe intake boost controller walbro fuel pump and 650cc injectors all on the stock turbo. It would help if we just had some numbers to go by just to get us rolling in the right direction. thanks.

It might help if you give us a little more information about what other tools you might be useing. What kind of a/f data are you getting? Are you useing a wideband? Is it running lean or rich when it starts bucking?

Normally its recomended to do a/f tuning on a dyno with a good wideband o2 sensor. You can do it on the road too, but it takes a bit longer.

Doing some searches could help too. Here is a thread that was somewhat relivent.

650 cc injectors are overkill for the stock turbo. you are going to have to make huge corrections in the upper rpm's to hae a decent a/f, I run the same setup with the stock injectors and it runs fine. Do you have a wideband and an egt? With a wideband I have my a/f at 10.8 at 5k moving up to 11.0 at redline.My egt's go no higher than 820. Pulls hard as hell. Put the stock injectors back in and get a wideband if you don't have one. You mentioned an intake. Which one is it?
